Notre Dame Berlin Program
The Notre Dame Berlin Program is a 6-week, 6-credit faculty led intensive program. Students spend part of the summer in Berlin, Germany’s capital and culture center. They will learn about Germany’s history as well as Germany today. Academic excursions and on-sight classes enrich the learning experience and introduce you to this amazing city. Courses are taught in English and German, in order to make the program accessible to a broad variety of students, with different academic and personal interests.
As the inaugural resident director of the Notre Dame Berlin summer program, I am responsible for the on-ground logistics of the six-week summer study abroad program in Berlin. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: housing arrangements, excursion planning and chaperoning, budget oversight, correspondence with German partner institutions, room and time scheduling for courses, oversight of student advising.
